[20:06] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): LaRPS is different from other meters becuase it is meant to be the AI for your character, as your character develops in your RP so does your system.

[20:12] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): Ok, first is health and strenth. Health is how many hits you can take before your character is defeated. Note... defeated is not dead.
[20:13] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): defeated can be passed out, unconscious... too tired to move... etc.
[20:14] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): Strength is how much you can exert before hurting yourself.
[20:15] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): An example of this would be like... running so long that eventually you begin to hurt.
[20:16] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): Now, these auto regenerate, however... there is a function that STs will have you use in an RP situation that affects either of these... it's called Scenemode
[20:17] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): Scenemode stops these stats from regenerating... which is helpful in say a round-robin combat situation.
[20:18] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): The command for this is /9scenemode on
[20:18] Astrid Muircastle: ((RP Scene Mode On))
[20:19] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): you'll see above my head a little circle .... thats the clue that I'm in scenemode.
[20:20] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): Life is actually the amount of life force your character has. If you reach this point, only a high level character can bring you back.
[20:20] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): And you all are so quiet i'm a little worried... any questions?

[20:22] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): alright, so next is hunger. your character gets hungry just like RL, it needs fuel. If your character is active, you will likely need to feed more.
[20:23] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): 50% means you are hungry... this is like the point where your stomach begins growling, might have hunger pains.

[20:24] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): It also means your character might not be very successful in their attempts at dice rolls either... because well... think about when your hungry... all you can think about is FOOD

[20:24] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): heh... yep seph needs some food.
[20:25] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): what are some ways to feed on sim?

[20:27] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): however... there is a function that lets you relieve your hunger with whatever is plausible for your character. Yep Gorge

[20:30] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): so yes, alchemi, you can rp finding grass or clover and using that
[20:31] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): so, gorge, biting, food vendors, NPCs... all sources of food on sim, it just depends on your RP

[20:33] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): Ok, next on your HUD is melee, this is the type of weapon you have equipped. All "weapons" work through the HUD, you do not need to buy any special weapons, they are only props.

[20:45] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): this goes back to LaRPS being an RP system, it rewards you for active roleplay, everytime you RP with /2 you are gaining experience

[20:49] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): Ok... next are your protections. These are designed to be whatever your protections are in your RP. For example... Astrid would never wear literal armor. But she never leaves the house without casting magical protections.

[20:50] Astrid Muircastle (astrid.floresby): Armor is your protection against physical damage. Shield is your protection againts magical damage, and anticurse is protection against the the different abilities in the HUD
