[11:05] Faith Diesel: thats a storyteller - im one of the people you call for assistance in your rp like when you want to change the environment or start a huge brawl

[11:07] Faith Diesel: we call it the larps system because its not really a combat meter
[11:07] Faith Diesel: its about quality rp
[11:08] Faith Diesel: so the first thing you need to know is how to post rp
[11:08] Faith Diesel: you need to use what we call the /2 commands
[11:08] Faith Diesel: this allows the larps to know you are posting and what you are posting

[11:09] Fate: "The /2commands allow you to RP using the HUD which allows for your stats such as verbosity to be improved. The most used are /2 for speech and /2m for actions. (using /2)"

[11:10] Fate looks round the room to see if everyone has got the idea. (using /2m)
[11:10] Faith Diesel: the /2m allows you to post an action

[11:18] Faith Diesel: and it affects ALL your other stats
[11:18] Faith Diesel: so rp and keep it nice and high

[11:19] Faith Diesel: so dont forget to eat
[11:19] Faith Diesel: how hungry you are shows on your HUD as a %
[11:20] Faith Diesel: i am currently 79% hungry so probably ravenous

[11:21] Faith Diesel: when i get over about 50% hunger then my meter will show that i am hungry

[11:22] Faith Diesel: my dice roll success will be affected
[11:22] Faith Diesel: i may even lose strength
[11:23] Faith Diesel: when i get to 100% hunger - i will start fainting and passing out
[11:23] Faith Diesel: and believe me that can be very troublesome in a legacies street

[11:24] Faith Diesel: especially if borris is still upset for messing up the cafe

[11:25] Faith Diesel: you will find that your strength takes wild dips
[11:25] Faith Diesel: and you can rp being faint with hunger

[11:25] Faith Diesel: so how do you prevent this
[11:26] Faith Diesel: there are a couple of ways to eat in the HUD
[11:26] Faith Diesel: you could use /9bitethem
[11:26] Faith Diesel: works best with vampires of course but even a human will get a bit of nurishment
[11:27] Faith Diesel: you have to be close enough to bite of course
[11:27] Faith Diesel: and some characters are are quite nimble footed
[11:27] Faith Diesel: you can also use /9gorge
[11:28] Faith Diesel: this allows characters like robots to eat
[11:28] Octavia Giffen: what is gorging?
[11:28] Faith Diesel: they can plug themself into a battery and use /9gorge to recharge
[11:28] Octavia Giffen: ohhhh

[11:29] Faith Diesel: and quite a bit
[11:29] Faith Diesel: the other ways to eat are to find an inviting pie or apple
[11:30] Faith Diesel: some you can just eat and some you have to buy with legacies coins
[11:30] Faith Diesel: there is food for every race in most of the sims
[11:30] Faith Diesel: you just have to find it

[11:32] Faith Diesel: you can see them in your HUD line at the top of the screen
[11:32] Faith Diesel: armor, shield and anticurse
[11:32] Faith Diesel: they all protect against different forms of damage
[11:33] Faith Diesel: you need the remember that even with these commands you need to rp it first
[11:34] Faith Diesel: say you put on chainmail - that would be armor - its physical
[11:34] Faith Diesel: but you might ward yourself and use anticurse
[11:35] Faith Diesel: a protection spell against the use of curses
[11:35] Faith Diesel: does that make sense?

[11:36] Faith Diesel: if you dont rp what protection you are wearing then its difficult to rp it being removed
[11:36] Faith Diesel: they can get armor quite early on
[11:36] Faith Diesel: anticurse and shield i think you need to gain a few levels

[11:40] Faith Diesel: you can buy armour icly but you need to find the person who sells it and yes it works
[11:41] Faith Diesel: you pay them coins then they give you armour
[11:41] Octavia Giffen: well i mean something more like swords and fangs

[11:42] Faith Diesel: you can buy weapons in the Vamporium shop

[11:42] Faith Diesel: the damage is all done by the larps
[11:43] Faith Diesel: so you can hit someone with a prim cube if you like

[11:44] Faith Diesel: as that might make things less mysterious
[11:45] Faith Diesel: we say every significant action must be dice rolled
[11:45] Faith Diesel: and the key is the significant
[11:46] Faith Diesel: you clean your teeth every day
[11:46] Faith Diesel: so the likelihood of you failing to clean your teeth is quite rare
[11:47] Faith Diesel: so you dont have to dice roll to clean your teeth or draw a sword or walk down the street
[11:47] Faith Diesel: i dont have to dice roll to fly as my character is a fae and we do it all the time
[11:48] Faith Diesel: but say for example your sword hadnt been used for a bit and you hadnt looked after it
[11:48] Faith Diesel: it might have got rusty
[11:48] Faith Diesel: and then you might have trouble drawing it
[11:48] Faith Diesel: it has become significant
[11:49] Faith Diesel: so you need to roll
[11:49] Faith Diesel: you always need to roll if you do something to another character
[11:49] Faith Diesel: a because its godmodding not to
[11:50] Faith Diesel: and b because you have know idea what the significance is to another character

[11:55] Fate focuses on their skill of Stealth, successfully performs a physical harm on Peri.

[11:57] Peri is taken unawares and had no change to block the incoming attack. The bottle smashes on her brow causing a gash to spew blood down her face and drip onto her gown

[11:57] Faith Diesel: because only she knows how the bottle will affect her character
