A Response to the Responders

I'm not going to reply to Cereno. Perhaps I am a bit too much like Vedis to respond with a civil tongue. And many of you have already stated my argument for me, many times over, and with greater eloquence than I can achieve.
But reading this thread has made we want to respond to those who responded.
I came to Legacies...goodness, has it been two years now? Closer to three perhaps. I don't remember anymore. I came to Legacies after a run of really bad sims, with massive OOC drama, and very little RolePlay actually occurring. I came here and read the rules, and yeah, I thought them excessive at the time. Nearly didn't come in because of the LaRPs 'meter'. I hate meters. I hate dice. I just want to RP and go about my business.
You know what? I love it here. It has allowed me to expand my RP, beyond what I ever thought possible. It allowed me to flesh out a character, Vedis, into something I had never dreamed of her being. It gave her a story, a life, if you will. Because of that, I have gained more faith in my writing abilities, several new blogs, and even more importantly, a set of friends that I can't dream of living without now.
My husband used to tease me that online relationships are not 'real' relationships. He doesn't tease me about that anymore, because without hesitation He and I can both now say, "Yes....yes they are." I have made friends here that have helped me through some of the roughest parts of my life, cried with me, laughed with me, hell, forced me to eat when my blood sugar was getting to low, and I couldn't see it. They have saved my life in more ways than one, and it's all because of Legacies.
Honestly guys, it's all because of YOU. Legacies wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. Your rentals help pay for the sim, your purchases in Vamporium help meet tier. Donations help Tri keep working on this fantastic AI that we call the LaRPS Roleplay system. And he does it for you. The STs...do it for you. The Mods...we do it for YOU. Because you are our friends, and our creative partners, and yes, our headaches. But everything we do, we do because we love this sim and the people it has brought together in a very real life kinda way.
So to all of you out there in Legacies, who responded to Cereno's post with love and understanding:

It means more than you will ever know.

Because when we have to deal with OOC drama, or griefers or any number of things that make us want to pull our hair out, we can forget...that it's totally worth it. YOU are totally worth it.
So again I say, Thank you Legacies, for...well...for everything.

I agree, this place is special and it is the support we give each other that makes it so. I like that you separated your post. The respect and caring that the players have for each other does stand out in the way Cereno's post has been addressed even to the point of respecting someone who has not respected others here. I see players not only supporting the players who work as STs but still trying to help Cereno and that is a special thing. -
Cheers. I agree, this is the best sim I'm RPed in yet. I enjoy the community most of all, that's why any of us stick to any RP Sim. I have nothing to really add to Thomas' post either, what's there to say, the community I love has already stood up for itself for me.
