PLEASE FIND FOLLOWING A MORNING IN THE LIFE OF A SMALL FAE...

    FATE SORTS OUT HER CONSERVATORY.
    PART 2: The Belly rumbles...
[06:17] Fate wakes up and stretches in her rocking chair, stiff as a board. She looks round her conservatory "So much work to do" then there is a sound like drains with an air lock forced into action by the turning of a tap. "I'm starving and not an apple or candy in the house to be munched!" She stands up and sorts out her clothing in the way faes do first thing in the morning. She puts on her hat & picks up her basket and sets out for the market. The bell on the shop door jangling behind her.....

As Fate approaches the market the barrel organ begins to play then stops at the end of its run.

[06:27] Fate sees something sparkly and green among the animal faeces and other detritus littering the street. She finds a lace hankie in her pocket, picks it up, admiring its prettiness for a minute and drops it in her basket, hankie and all.

She then continues to the apple barrel, the object of her desire at that moment...

[06:30] Basket of Apples draws your attention to the fresh ripe produce as does the barrel of turnips "The cost to buy apples or turnips is 5 coins each bag. Exact money please. No refunds are given if you pay too much.", The produce is fresh and appetizing. Fate shakes her head as she notices the sign from the gnomes.

[06:31] Reverend George sauntered across the road towards the marketplace, groaning faintly and rubbing his eyes behind his glasses, he seemed tired and cranky -unbelieveable, this morning the only one who dropped by for confession was this old hag with a handbag, who insisted upon jumping on top of the reverend right after confession, intruding in his private space before threatening him to smack him with her handbag-, yes, the reverend was grumpy, then upon looking around to where people might sell food or something, he stopped halfway to stare at a woman in a red dress...with wings "Good grief" he raised a frowning and disgruntled eyebrow.

Fate pays for the bag of Apples. ((Hunger reduced from 65 to 50%))

[06:33] Scarlett Madsen stifles a yawn, keeping a hand over her mouth to maintain her lady-like composure as she sauntered over to peruse the apples, she smiles warmly to the two standing at the marketplace, "Good Morning." and curtsies then walks up to closer inspect the produce. She gives some money for Apples

[06:34] Fate puts the apples in her basket and grabs one to munch turning to see who had exclaimed. She tries to say hello but her cheeks are full of apple so sort of does a little wave and curtsey.

[06:39] Reverend George continued to stare at the wings for a while before giving a short and casual bow and nod "m'am, ladies" he spoke fast and turned his head to lean over and sniff over one of the apples stalled out, he narrowed his eyes behind his glasses -god knows what the people had done to them- he was paranoid about any kind of food since he came to this godforsaken place

[06:40] Scarlett Madsen smiles with a friendly expression at the woman as she polishes the apple a bit with her leather glove before taking out a handkerchief and takes a small bite out of the apple, munching politely, keeping the handkerchief in front of her mouth, she sneaks a glance at the reverend, intrigued by his sour disposition. She swallows and then turns politely and smiles nods her head in recognition of him.

[06:41] Fate swallows hard and looks a bit shame-faced "I am sorry good Sir and Lady. I was in dire need of some breakfast and could not hold back from this juicy apple.." waving it at both of them "Good morning both, I am Fate"

[06:42] Scarlett Madsen chuckles a bit in good humor, "Do not worry, Miss Fate. I was rather peckish when I awoke this morning as well." she extends a hand, "I am Scarlett Madsen. How do you do?"

[06:45] Reverend GeorgeReverend George kind of hovered his upperbody over the apples as he took several steps, rudely his back was turned towards the ladies, when he half turns his head, one of his eyes glistening behind his glasses as he almost as if in secrecy shifted his eyes between the two ladies who emitted the obnoxious sounds of squelching bitten apples "eat like a bird m'am, ever so elegantly" he mutters in his deep macchiato voice, it wasn't quite clear if it was a polite joke or rather something of sarcastic nature. before finally getting a hold of an apple himself, canting his head in expecting the thing, an eternal frown on his face -no spit, no worms, no...ectoplasm. He then finally turns to the women as he held the apple in his hand with only two fingers. "it is a great pleasure, ladies" he smirked faintly before clearing his throat and pointing at his collar "George, Reverend George"

[06:47] Fate moves her basket to her left arm, puts what remains of the apple inside and takes the lady's hand in her small hand with its long boney fingers capped with a sharp nail almost like a small talon, shaking vigorously "Well met Miss Madison..." Like a bird she hears and her laughter tinkles out among the sounds of the market in an infectious way.

[06:50] Reverend George looks down as he saw the two hands shake, one of the hands clearly looking different. then slowly he moved to get a small vial with some fluid inside to pour it over the apple and settling his teeth in it, taking a slow and lingering bite, every teeth slowly crushing where it dug into the apple.

[06:51] Scarlett Madsen takes Fate's hand and bows her head slightly with a friendly smile then steps back and dives into another small bite and dabs her mouth and turns to the reverend arching a brow at his gruff behavior, then masks it quickly with her usual polite demeanor, "Pleasure, Reverend George." she looks him up and down suspiciously, "I'm sure this city has kept the men of cloth rather busy." she smiles coyly at him, "I ventured into the chapel once when I arrived...I happened upon some rather objects in the upstairs." she smiles deviously and takes a chomp out of her apple making a loud sound with a challenging grin on her face... "*rather interesting objects"
[06:54] Fate peers at the man of the cloth "Are you a friend of Father Mono, Reverend George?" she asks with her body language all curious and a sparkle in her eye.

[06:58] Reverend George winced at the salesman as he stood there like an idiot "I shall pay up..." he shifted his eyes between the two ladies "It is on me" it was an offer, however it sounded more like some kind of demand, until after a break he bowed his head and his mouth curled up into a smile. His eyes started to travel over the skirt and curves of the blond haired woman behind his glasses as he raises a brow "On the contrary, m'am. It seems the amount of sin in this place has turned into such a commodity christianity seemed to not be one of standard anymore. The church is very empty at times" he smiled faintly, his voice sounding very calm yet there was something 'guilt tripping' and inviting about it. "ma'm" he looked over to the woman in the orange red dress with the odd pair of wings "actually I just acquainted him." he bows his head slowly.

[06:59] Fate , distracted from the Rev's answer as she takes in what Scarlet has said, turns to look Miss Madison up and down "I dont think Father Mono would like you trapsing through his private quarters, Miss. Its not quite seemly for a young lady either!" She frowns deeply.

[07:02] Reverend George then tensed his nostrils and swallowed "The chapel is but Father Monoceros dwelling, I simply work there" he coughed a few times, washing his hands in innocence, however just not wanting to admit he himself had ventured upstairs a few times as well like a thief...and made use of some of the objects

[07:02] Clio Deveraux approaches smiling widely "Good evening Miss Madsen!" then turns to the man and nods politely, smiling "Monsieur". She looks at the fae and smiles "good evening to you too, Madame"

[07:03] Fate bobs a curtsey to the newcomer but keeps her beady eyes on Scarlett

[07:04] Scarlett Madsen laughs a bit and raises her hands, "I was not aware that it was his private quarters." she continues to laugh, "I had just arrived and my curious nature took hold. If I meet this Father Mono, I will apologize to him." sighs after the long laughing streak then turns to the reverend, "How rather interesting, Reverend. I thought that there would at least be some people seeking liberation from their sin." she says keeping direct eye contact then swiftly turns around at the sound of Madame's voice, "Madame! I am so pleased to see you! I have missed you greatly!" she attempts to give her the common French greeting of kisses on both cheeks, "Welcome home!" she beams

[07:06] Reverend George turns slowly towards the woman, there seemed to be an eternal frown on his face, but perchance these were just his features. He then bows his head once again "Madame" he smirked before almost playfully shifting his eyes between the ladies behind his glasses to stop and look at the French woman's attire "Paris, m'am?" he spoke a little more lightly, though his voice was still very dark and deep.

[07:08] Clio Deveraux kisses Scarlett on the cheeks smiling "I missed you too, ma chére. You now, all this Christmas mess... family gifts" sighs "But I'm at home at last, in deed" giggles, then turns to the man "By the way, monsieur, is father Monoceros at the church? I must confess I'm a good catholic, but since I'm London, it seems hard to find a priest when the soul needs it" smirks showing her perfect white teeth.

[07:09] Reverend George pursed his lips to the apple he still had in his hands, then moved his hands to his pockets to get out some money. He stretched out his hand holding on to it as he was turned towards the French lady, the way he stood there it looked as if he were to pay her for something "It seems this town has many pagan's m'am. Some believe, yes it is very tragic indeed....but they believe they have committed such crime their souls cannot be redeemed" he straightens his glasses "However I will not give up, these people deserve a chance to find the path of enlightenment, for truly they do not understand the Lord is a very forgiving creator.

[07:09] Fate takes in the foreign kissing ritual and seems suddenly satisfied as if foreigners might be perfectly entitled to enter priests private rooms uninvited. "Oh you are not English then, Ladies. You speak very well for foreigners" She clutches her wicker basket with both hands and looks round for the other provisions she needs.

[07:10] Clio Deveraux smiles to Fate and nods politely "Thank you Madame. But please, forgive my rudeness. I'm Miss Clio Deveraux" curtsies briefly.

[07:11] Fate inclines her head "Good morning Miss Deveraux"

[07:11] Reverend George started smirking amusedly behind his glasses upon hearing the French woman, quickly he gives the money to the salesman before clearing his throat "Actually Father Rhinoceros seems to be on a short trip" he lied "however I myself work at his marvelously humble chapel m'am" he had something amused in his dark voice.

[07:12] Clio Deveraux smiles to the fae and turns to the man, raising a brow "Rhinoceros?"

[07:14] Scarlett Madsen chuckles a bit, "No miss. I confess I am not English. Nor am I French." she laughs, "I'm afraid I have traveled so often and so wide that I do not have a homeland." she grins, then turns to the George, "How very noble of you, sir. I wish you the best in your endeavors." she manages to feign an encouraging smile, "Thank you for the apple, as well, Reverend. Very kind of you." and giggles a bit at madame's question trying to keep quiet and looks down at the floor

[07:14] Fate giggles and warms to the new priest "Father Rhinoceros...Father you are funny!"
[07:15] Reverend George bows his head "Truly I admire all women who have enlightened there souls with the catholic belief" he spoke almost lavishly before coughing and doubling over, then quickly he straightened himself again "M-m...mo...monoceros, I humbly apologize, madame" he shifted his eyes almost nervously behind his glasses and pulls his collar before very hardly to regain his motionless 'cool'
[07:17] Fate: "I dont hold with all that standing up and kneeling but the singing is quite fun...Human religions are most peculiar on the whole though"
[07:18] Reverend George "thank you m'am" he turned towards the winged woman, the left corner of his mouth pulling upwards in a distorted smile "however I can assure if insulting it never was a joke." he tenses his nostrils and brushes his cloth "I seem to be a little....off...th-...this morning" there was something stirring beneath the surface of his cold voice for a moment. "Human....religion?" he asks carefully, cocking a brow.

[07:18] Scarlett Madsen turns to Clio, "Madame, I did not know you were a Catholic. How intriguing." she brushes off a piece of lint on her dress, "I myself have always found religion to be very interesting but my Father and I never belonged to any denomination. I find the rituals to be quite fascinating." she looks over the reverend with curiosity letting her gaze linger a bit on the cross pondering.

[07:19] Clio Deveraux is at the point of breaking ina big laugh, but holds herself, and behind her victorian lady mask, only her eyes smile "Oh, I don't know too much father Monoceros, to be honest, but, as far he's the only who dares to talk about the Faith in this town, he deserves all my respect...." looks down "are you new at the town, sir?". She looks at Scarlett "Oh, yes, dear, I'm a..." blinks "believer"

[07:22] Reverend George blinks his obscured eyes a few times behind his glasses, seeming to have fallen silent. He quickly stated "Yes I am m'am" however he wouldn't bring up he couldn't quite tell.

[07:23] Scarlett Madsen beams, "A most admirable quality, Madame." looks over to the reverend, "Maybe I should stop by the church and see what all the fuss is about." she smiles warmly then upon the reverend's words, "Welcome, Reverend.. I arrived not too long ago myself and I very happy here."

[07:23] Clio Deveraux smiles widely to Reverend George "Welcome, then" looks at his collar "father. You've got already a place to rest?" her voice sounds friendly.

[07:25] Fate cocks her head on one side to take in the new priest; a very fae mannerism. It shifts her balance a little and threatens to tip her up. Her wings automatically stir a little, lifting her off the ground for a second, as she regains her balance. The movement is unconscious. She pipes up "I am glad Father Rhino has taken you under his wing, Father" Much amusement showing in her twinkly eyes.

[07:27] Scarlett Madsen eyes brighten with curiosity, "I should like to meet this Father. You all speak very highly of him. Where might I find him, Reverend?" she tips her head questioningly, "You said he was out of town. Do you know when he may return?"

[07:28] Reverend George looked the French woman over from top to bottom now, the lace, the chiffon, the sensual colors, she seemed like well bred, and perchance rich lady. His eyes shifted towards the bottom of her skirt to shoot back to her face in a reflex "eh..." he almost sounded overwhelmed and then moved to adjust his collar before speaking casually "In fact I stay at a local guesthouse" he chuckled "however they have a slight cockroach infestation....and the food....well" he made an obvious sour face behind his glasses "I shall....not have have such vile jokes again, m'am" he quickly and agitatedly stated in a twitch towards the winged woman "as it was when I spoke, it was subconscious and not harm intended!" he cramped up before smiling
[07:30] Reverend George turned his head towards the blonde woman in the lavish red and narrowed his eyes as he inspected her doll like face "I am afraid father" he clears his throat "Father Monoceros has not spoken of when he would return"

[07:33] Fate giggles, at possibly her own joke as none had been spoken, then decides to be helpful. "Father Monoceros is never away for long. I am sure he will return directly"

[07:33] Clio Deveraux observes the Faith's reaction, not sure if it's normal or maybe some emotional reaction, so she steps back a little, her face still smiling, then turns to George "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, monsieur. The dark coast inn was very good when I arrived here, but if you need another place to rest, maybe I could offer you a room on our modest shop" looks at Scarlett with the corner of her eye.

[07:35] Fate: " Maybe Father George means the hostel, Huet Hall. It is a bit rough and ready"

[07:35] Scarlett Madsen peers at George with a soul-piercing gaze sensing there was more that he was leaving out, but she regained her lady-like appearance with a polite smile then upon hearing Madame's words, her cheeks prickled a vibrant violet colour as they do, she turns to Madame, "Ah, yes, a splendid idea. There is still the room above mine available."

[07:36] Clio Deveraux raises her brows "oh! yes... I'm afraid I don't know the hostel. I mean, i never was lodged there"

[07:38] Reverend George stood there for a short moment before giving a deep and quick bow, his hair whipping forward and his back almost snapping int eh movement "Truly m'am, that is a most kind offer. However for a humble reverend such as I infestations and such are but a commodity" "yess, Huet Hall it is, however it is where I fled after I heard the dark coast in had a mutant rat plague, they spoke of the rats eating human flesh while one stayed overnight"

[07:40] Reverend George shakes his head tragically as he straightened himself "it is but a commodity to a simple reverend. You see, a man like I has enough comfort in His eternal love alone, yes" he spoke calmly "it is the only divine love which matters."

[07:40] Scarlett Madsen covers her mouth as she holds back a sinister laugh at the rats eating human flesh but manages to cover it up by clearing her throat and regaining her usual polite demeanour with a look of shock, "How dreadful!" she lowers her head and shakes it.

[07:41] Fate nods happily "It has all the unemployed trapsing through too as it is also the local labour exchange.." on hearing the sad rat tale she continues "I am sorry to hear the Dark Cost Inn is plagued by rats. The ones at the end of my street I find most distressing. I have asked the Dark Council to set the ratcatcher on them on many an occasion. But the Dark Coast Inn" she wails a little "My favourite place for tea!"

[07:41] Clio Deveraux shrugs smiling "Oh, thank you, father, but is just my debt as good Christian: I can leave anybody sleeping at the streets unless they desire it" giggles, then listens about the rats "oh, no! really? But I didn't hear anything about any corps!"

[07:42] Persephone Kelaino Plutonian noticing a man of the cloth attempted to introduce herself but thought otherwise and waited for him to be free.

[07:44] Clio Deveraux notices Persephone and suddenly smiles, a wild fire pokes at her eyes "Oh, Miss Plutonian, what a surprise! You're not going to greet us, mademoiselle. I still wonder why you left the job, my dear" sounds friendly.

[07:45] Fate looks at her watch "Goodness me, look at the time" She holds onto her basket and flits about on the spot anxiously "I am sorry ladies and Father, I must get on. I have a whole conservatory to replant by the end of today and I haven't even finished the shopping!"

[07:45] Clio Deveraux smiles to Fate "Was a pleasure, to meet you madame" curtsies.

[07:45] Persephone Kelaino Plutonian gave madame a curtsy "No thank you,. Madame. As much as I love you I do not wish to be attacked by you, again." Giving smile she waited silently.

[07:46] Scarlett Madsen turns to see Persephone and flinches a bit with fear as a slight sneer overcame the top corner of her mouth. She turned her back to her and gave Madame a look with her brows raised then turned to Persephone and forced a pleasant smile on her lips, "Persephone, I hardly recognized you without your dagger. I hope you are well." she looks at her with an arched brow with flames behind her eyes and turns to Fate with a warm smile, "Pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Miss Fate. I hope you have a most wonderful day." she keeps her back turned to Persephone.

[07:47] Clio Deveraux looks at Persephone and blinks "uh? attacked? My dear, what are you talking about?" looks surprised "I'ts about the sold. I think I payed you, but I don't remember it, to be honest"

[07:47] Fate raises an eyebrow as she hurries round the market stalls paying for supplies.
[07:47] A costermonger calls out: "The cost to buy GoL Bag of Wheat is 5 coins. Exact money please. No refunds are given if you pay too much.", The produce is fresh and appetizing.

[07:47] Scarlett Madsen smiles warmly at the George, "Reverend would you care to see Madame's shop and perhaps sit down for some tea?"

[07:47] Fate gives some money for a bag of Wheat ((Hunger reduced from 50 to 35%))

[07:50] Reverend George quickly bowed towards the woman and smiled humbly "m'am" before quickly turnng to Scarlett and Clio "I'd be delighted to indeed" he states, his left hand disappeared in his pocket
[07:53] Fate picks up her final provisions then heads back towards her shop.

She returns to the shop and goes straight to the Prep Kitchen...

[09:57] Fate puts the basket down on the table and unpacks the apples into the empty bowl sitting there. She grabs another of the juicy fruits and muches it happily as she consults her Notebook for the next things on her list.
[09:57] Fate performs Make Food on themself. ((Hunger reduced from 35% to 0%))
    THE END OF PART 2.
