[11:04] Faith Diesel: you see at the top of your viewer it says health strength and life

[11:06] Faith Diesel: actually first i should say that Legacies is an rp sim and that all the rules and the hud and meter are only there to help give a total immersion rp experience
[11:06] Faith Diesel: so rp comes first - the HUD & meter are just there to assist and record
[11:07] Ceri Quixote: ok, that makes sense :)
[11:08] Faith Diesel: now in order for it to do that you need to tell the HUD what you are up to. Most of that is done automatically as long as you have your meter on and you rp using the /2 rp commands

[11:08] Ceri Quixote: Yes... talk and emote at least
[11:09] Faith Diesel: the full list is in the help nc in the HUD
[11:09] Faith Diesel: if you click the line of your hud you get a drop down menu

[11:10] Faith Diesel: ok lets get back to the stats on your HUD
[11:10] Faith Diesel: The first one: Health is the amount of hit points before your character becomes defeated
[11:11] Ceri Quixote: ok
[11:12] Faith Diesel: For RP purposes Defeated can be described as Not dead just badly injured - unconcious maybe
[11:12] Faith Diesel: You can recover yourself by using some HUD commands
[11:13] Faith Diesel: The first is /9reviveMe to come round
[11:13] Faith Diesel: and /9healMe to recover more health
[11:14] Ceri Quixote: ok
[11:15] Faith Diesel: you or whoever is healing you needs to do Revive first or you will bet stuck defeated
[11:15] Faith Diesel: if that happens just detach and reattach your hud and meter
[11:15] Ceri Quixote: ok
[11:16] Faith Diesel: The using of the commands just tells the HUD what you are doing so dont forget to RP it as well
[11:17] Faith Diesel: usually we RP attempting to do something then use the command which is actually a diceroll to see if you succeed
[11:17] Faith Diesel: then you need to rp the result and any further action you want to can go in the same post
[11:18] Faith Diesel: i expect you know all the usual rp etiquette

[11:21] Ceri Quixote: after age verifying she also needs to set her preferences to access adult content

[11:22] Daim McGinnis: Pixels never sleep

[11:22] Faith Diesel: So if you use spells or fight physically you will get tired

[11:23] Faith Diesel: and you hud & your meter will reflect that
[11:23] Faith Diesel: so you can use that imformation to rp accordingly
[11:24] Faith Diesel: the HUD will work how much based on your stats
[11:24] Faith Diesel: If strength gets to zero, it will affect health
[11:25] Faith Diesel: The last in this group of stats is life
[11:25] Faith Diesel: Life is the full life force of your character, if that gets to zero, you are dead and need to be resurrected.
[11:25] Ceri Quixote: ok
[11:25] Faith Diesel: Death is difficult but resurrection will probably need a high level character to do.
[11:25] Faith Diesel: There is no permadeath unless you want it for your character
[11:25] Ceri Quixote: what affects Life?
[11:26] Faith Diesel: good question
[11:26] Faith Diesel: extreme hunger i wouldnt wonder
[11:27] Faith Diesel: it is very difficult
[11:28] Ceri Quixote: ok
[11:28] Faith Diesel: i have only seen done as a specific dice roll and agreed by the victim
[11:29] Faith Diesel: ok next stat on the hud is hunger
[11:30] Faith Diesel: there are various food sources round the sims for all races
[11:30] Faith Diesel: some for sale, some to have
[11:30] Faith Diesel: You can also use /9biteThem or /9gorge
[11:31] Faith Diesel: You need 2000xp to use /9gorge and relieves about 50% hunger
[11:31] Faith Diesel: Your character is not permanently deteriorated unless you are more than 500% hungry. Think of it as starvation.

[11:33] Faith Diesel: there are various action commands in your hud you can use

[11:41] Faith Diesel: you may have seen down on the sim there are various NPCs (non-playing characters)

[11:42] Faith Diesel: you can fight those either with melee or hud abilities
[11:42] Faith Diesel: so lets look at how to do melee
[11:43] Faith Diesel: there is a free blade in your larps folder

[11:43] Faith Diesel: if you wear it now - yes
[11:44] Faith Diesel: there are other weapons available in vamporium

[11:55] Faith Diesel: but its up to you
[11:55] Faith Diesel: you also need to be close to your opponent to inflict damage

[11:56] Faith Diesel: you can practice in the arena on the dummies to get it right
[11:56] Faith Diesel: and need to face your opponent
