[12:12] Leigh Huet: health and strength are just that those increase on their own as you level
[12:12] Leigh Huet: if your health goes to zero you are in a defeated state
[12:12] Leigh Huet: not dead
[12:12] Leigh Huet: think of it as being unconscious you can wake from and you can move in this state
[12:12] Leigh Huet: just not to well
[12:13] Leigh Huet: if you are in a RP fight it does not always reflect in your meter this is where it is up to you as a player to understand your injuries and RP accordinly
[12:15] Leigh Huet: you life force is that your total life force
[12:15] Leigh Huet: once that hits zero your character is dead
[12:15] Leigh Huet: it takes a lot to get to that point
[12:16] Leigh Huet: this can only happen in a melee fight with NPC's or meter bashing fight with another player if you keep reviving and keep getting defeated
[12:17] Leigh Huet: you will need someone that has resuerecting abilities to come back from this state...though if you ever want to kill your character in RP again it is not determined by your meter and only you can approve this no one call permanatly kill your character unless you allow it

[12:20] Leigh Huet: ok there are four protections across your hud you can apply these just by clicking on the words above the numbers

[12:21] Leigh Huet: for melee this is for hiting purposes
[12:21] Ophelia Applewhyte: wow
[12:21] Leigh Huet: there are actually I think4 different kinds for the melee
[12:21] allanas successfully increases their melee damage.
[12:22] Leigh Huet: when fighting NPC's there is two things you need to watch
[12:22] Leigh Huet: one your melee will fall off and your strength will go down
[12:22] Leigh Huet: if your strength gets to zero it will affect your health
[12:22] Leigh Huet: so basically you will tire yourself out to exhaustion and go to a defeated state
[12:22] Leigh Huet: you can prevent this by healing yourself
[12:22] Leigh Huet: the command is /9healme
[12:23] Leigh Huet: or you can make a gesture
[12:23] Leigh Huet: Armor is just that think of it being the armor that a knight would wear
[12:23] Leigh Huet: this protects you from hits
[12:23] Leigh Huet: especially from NPC's or other players should you go to the combat area
[12:24] Leigh Huet: the last two is shield and anticurse
[12:24] Leigh Huet: these become avialble at level 15
[12:24] Leigh Huet: or
[12:25] Leigh Huet: you may find a player that can "bless" you with it though they may not do it for free...winks
[12:25] Leigh Huet: these will protect you from curses and damage abilities

[12:51] Leigh Huet: these are great for finding ways to RP using them for RP fights where it is turn based

[12:52] Leigh Huet: not all will work and for you the challenge is finding out which work best against the NPC or even other characters

[13:07] Leigh Huet: when it is needed an ST will ask you to roll one of these

[13:07] Leigh Huet: turns are in place of minutes
[13:08] Leigh Huet: main reason being if you did 2 minutes, that can take the time of just writing a responce
[13:08] Leigh Huet: make sence?
