[04:07 PM] Leigh Huet: welcom all to You and your LaRPS.. for those that do not know me I am Leigh and one of the Story Tellers here in Legacies, I have been RPing here for over a year now and I love Legacies
[04:07 PM] A group member named Parker Rumsford owned by the group 'Isle Of Legacies - Residents' gave you Do It or Else.
[04:08 PM] Leigh Huet: for those of you that have used other meters, it is time to forget all about them for this is not just a meter where you throw skills and bash away, this is a RP tool used to enhance your RP
[04:09 PM] Leigh Huet: lets start by looking at your hud and going left to right. as some of you already know we do have some NPC's on the game floor that you can fight for meat, like the zombies, rats, spiders
[04:09 PM] Leigh Huet: your health is how many hit points it takes to get you to a defeated state
[04:09 PM] Leigh Huet: unlike others if you are in a defeated stat you CAN move
[04:10 PM] Leigh Huet: just remember you have been knocked out, had the wind knocked out of you there are many ways you can RP it depending on how you got in that state
[04:10 PM] Leigh Huet: one thing I will tell you is please make sure you revive FIRST before you do any healing otherwise you avatar will get stuck in the defeated state
[04:11 PM] Leigh Huet: that is a glitch
[04:11 PM] Leigh Huet: if it should happen just come to the hub detach your meter and reatach or do so if no one else is around
[04:12 PM] Leigh Huet: your strenth will go down as you fight and think of it just like RL you get tired doing things like lifting weights you get tired swinging a weapon or throwing your fist
[04:12 PM] Leigh Huet: now depending on your character not all can fly and not all can go underwater
[04:12 PM] Leigh Huet: if you cannot go under water you will drown if you stay to long
[04:13 PM] Leigh Huet: same for flying for it will take from your strength and then health rapidly
[04:14 PM] Leigh Huet: life force is your full life if that gets to zero your character is dead but you can find a player to resurrect you
[04:14 PM] Leigh Huet: any questions about those before I move on?

[04:15 PM] Leigh Huet: ok the next on your hud is hunger
[04:15 PM] Leigh Huet: this will grow at a rate depending again upon your character
[04:15 PM] Leigh Huet: it will not affect your status of health untill you get to 500%
[04:16 PM] Leigh Huet: however think at that point you are starving to death
[04:16 PM] Leigh Huet: there are many ways you can feed your hunger depending upon your character
[04:16 PM] Leigh Huet: there are places ICly that you can purchase food or drink for coin that will feed your hunger
[04:17 PM] Leigh Huet: and again NPC's like the chickens, rats, spiders, zombies that drop meat when you defeat them
[04:18 PM] Leigh Huet: if your vamp, demon, lycan, and I think neko you feed your hunger through biting
[04:18 PM] Leigh Huet: any questions about the hunger?
[04:18 PM] Meat Supply: how do you bite leigh?
[04:19 PM] Leigh Huet: using the command /9bitethem but you will have to have a player targeted to affect them
[04:19 PM] Leigh Huet: you can also target the NPC's
[04:19 PM] Leigh Huet: to affect anyone you MUST have them targeted
[04:19 PM] Zack Vedrina: Thats so speciest ;_; Humans can be cannibals too
[04:19 PM] Leigh Huet: humans can bite infact everyone can
[04:20 PM] Leigh Huet: but only certain races would gain from it like feeding their hunger
[04:20 PM] Oceantide Leifstrom: so as a human if I bit someone it wouldnt affect my hunger?
[04:20 PM] Leigh Huet: nope for humans would not gain nutritional value but you can harm them with it
[04:21 PM] Oceantide Leifstrom: so I shall stick to the cafe and zombies then *smiles*

[04:21 PM] Leigh Huet: if you turn your transparienc on using control alt and T you will see how big the target is

[04:22 PM] Leigh Huet: if you have difficulty targeting something most times it is because your getting your own target
[04:22 PM] Leigh Huet: same thing for opening doors
[04:23 PM] Leigh Huet: you will know you have them targeted for the name will show in the hud
[04:23 PM] Leigh Huet: and to clear it just click on the word target

[04:25 PM] Meat Supply: okay ..im just going to ahve to find somebody to let me try all this on later

[04:26 PM] Leigh Huet: click on an open area on your hud
[04:26 PM] Leigh Huet: this will bring up the menu
[04:26 PM] Leigh Huet: click on equip for me
[04:27 PM] Michiko successfully equips a swift weapon.
[04:27 PM] Leigh Huet: now this brings up the different melee choices and your armor
[04:27 PM] Leigh Huet: these do not require power to use
[04:27 PM] Zack successfully increases their melee damage.
[04:27 PM] Meat successfully equips a pair of weapons.
[04:27 PM] Leigh Huet: as far as the different melee this is how hard you it is like a buff
[04:27 PM] Leigh Huet: think about your character and apply the best one for YOUR character
[04:28 PM] Leigh Huet: but be careful the Iron hammer is SLOW
[04:28 PM] Leigh Huet: and heavy
[04:28 PM] Leigh Huet: but the damage for that one hit would be higher than the iron fist
[04:28 PM] Leigh Huet: it will also make you tired faster
[04:28 PM] Leigh Huet: and that will affect your strength and eventually health
[04:28 PM] Leigh Huet: ok?

[04:29 PM] Leigh Huet: melee is for hitting and armor is for protection from being hit
[04:29 PM] Leigh Huet: think of armor being like a knight shinning armor
[04:29 PM] Leigh Huet: there are places in game that you can even purchase a higher armor
[04:29 PM] Leigh Huet: it will evenually come off as you fight
[04:29 PM] Meat Supply: leigh...if i dont have armor as a selction does that mean i have yet to aquire any at my level?

[04:30 PM] Leigh Huet: you just need to put it on

[04:32 PM] Leigh Huet: the shield protects against the damaging abilities like hobble them
[04:32 PM] Meat Supply: leigh...before we get too far...how come when i actually click on melee on the hud it increases my melee and says fists now...but if i use the open space to get menu and equip i can choose my weapon
[04:33 PM] Leigh Huet: anitcurse is protection against those that are curses like blindthem or hazethem
[04:33 PM] Leigh Huet: that is the default application
[04:33 PM] Meat Supply: fists?
[04:33 PM] Leigh Huet: but your buff ALWAYS stays on it does not fall off like your armor does

[04:37 PM] Leigh Huet: one is a job, pick pocketing, and zombies, also there are bi monthly stipends the city pays the citizens

[04:41 PM] Leigh Huet: some may be in a different color
[04:41 PM] Leigh Huet: that means you just learned that ability
[04:42 PM] Leigh Huet: if your unable to use it just reload your character and it will work
[04:43 PM] Leigh Huet: now this is your challenge in your RP
[04:43 PM] Leigh Huet: and that is to read the descriptions of each of these abilites and find a way for YOU to use based on YOUR character
[04:43 PM] Leigh Huet: everyone has the same abilites but they work differently based on how well you know it by using it
[04:44 PM] Leigh Huet: the table will tell you your range or how much damage or how much health you give someone healing another
[04:44 PM] Leigh Huet: this is also your /9commands for your abilities
[04:44 PM] Leigh Huet: not all of them are on the menu and if you wish to create a gesture what you would need
[04:45 PM] Leigh Huet: but for me personally I just have them printed out and type the commands when I RP using them

[04:45 PM] Leigh Huet: there are all kinds of ways you can use them like healthem for instance

[04:47 PM] Leigh Huet: so what I would like you to do is look, at your abilities, target me....and then RP how you would use that ability from your characters stand point

[04:48 PM] Leigh Huet: remember to RP first then use it and it is always an atempt

[05:13 PM] Leigh Huet: the critical fail, and stellar success are the most interesting when in a fight or creating potions
[05:13 PM] Leigh Huet: now there is a quick way to access the dice
[05:14 PM] Leigh Huet: that is to click on what looks a crystal
[05:14 PM] Leigh Huet: it is actuallyl a RP die
[05:14 PM] Leigh Huet: a 12 sided die actually
[05:14 PM] Leigh Huet: so click on that for me
[05:14 PM] Leigh Huet: you will see PvTarget, PvAbility and PvEnviron

[05:15 PM] Leigh Huet: the numbered dice are use mainly for qualifiers

[05:24 PM] Nicolie feels his body seemed to be covered by a blanket of comfort, as he hears her voice flowing to his ears, inhaling her scent fillhis his breath. Turns to look at her as his muscles relax and he looks to her with a smile on his face.
