(2 posts)-
[05:01 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Alright Me hearties.
[05:01 PM] Faith Diesel: now settle down all - let Genesis start
[05:01 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Tis everyone here?
[05:01 PM] Faith Diesel: i think so Geneisi
[05:01 PM] Faith Diesel: oops
[05:01 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: I shall begin by saying Happy Talk like a pirate day, and forgive me but you all must suffer as I ry to do this properly. Shoud it become a problem, we'll try to speak more normally.
[05:01 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Aaaaand the lag hits...*sigh*
[05:02 PM] Patch Reina takes his usual seat...on the floor...playing his unbeatable game
[05:02 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: My name Be Genesis Barthelmess. And I happen to have a great deal of experience with alts and what not. My trade? Being an antagonist in many different ways, and in many different styles. And over the years I've gotten good at this
[05:03 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: At least thats what me mateys say. And so I thought to myself, a crusty old dog like me ought to give back a bit and help shed some light on the ins and outs of being properly badass and villainy...becasue there are some truths that we must know first.
[05:04 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Me lads and lassies. Being Evil is fun. Being Evil is liberating. Being evil is enjoyable as all get out. But Being evil, properly convincing and engaging...this is difficult. Extremelly so. So today i'm going to try to help the rest of you bilge rats earn your wings.
[05:04 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: First and foremost, What is /evil?"
[05:04 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Ophelia me hearty, can you give me what you think evil is?
[05:05 PM] Halo Koolhoven winces...
[05:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: A note of course to all of ye scury dogs. I'll be asking ye questions here and there. So keep your eyballs up and your muskets loaded.
[05:06 PM] Beatrice Cerise nods
[05:06 PM] Crimson Sixpence: hehehe
[05:06 PM] Patch Reina raises his hand?
[05:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Go to it Patch
[05:06 PM] Patch Reina: Evil is replacing the contents of a sprite can...with sierra mist and giving it to your mother.
[05:07 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: oddly..thats not a bad example.
[05:07 PM] Faith Diesel: whats sierra mist?
[05:07 PM] Crimson Sixpence: knock off of sprite xD
[05:07 PM] Gisele Galtier raises her hand.
[05:07 PM] Beatrice Cerise smiles
[05:07 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Gisele, go for it
[05:08 PM] Gisele Galtier: I'd say evil was in the eye of the beholder. A villain doesn't have to believe that she is wrong.
[05:08 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Exactl
[05:08 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: its a point we'll hit on later. Gold star Gisele
[05:09 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Evil in its raw form is simply a complete abandonment of social norms. The acceptance that you have your own way of doing things, and getting wha tyou want. And ye'll give any two bit bilge rat what tries to tstop you a blast from the triple guns
[05:09 PM] Crimson Sixpence: bannana sticker for you!
[05:09 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: scratch n sniff?
[05:09 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Only the best
[05:09 PM] Ziggy London: Evil is an absolute, opposed on a spectrum of moral behaviour to subjective 'good', as defined by the conventions of the society within which the protagonists interact. Moral conventions shift and change as the values of the society shift and change.
[05:09 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: yes.
[05:09 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: So
[05:09 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Evil is relative
[05:09 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: But being an evil character be absolute me mates
[05:10 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: to be properly evil, in the back of your head you have to make a choice. Am I evil? And what is evil to me.
[05:10 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: And here's the key
[05:10 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: remember this.
[05:10 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: after you make that decision, immediatly file it way in the 'stuff you don't think about' category
[05:11 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: So now that that be out of the way me bonnies...lets get into the nitty gritty, and give you a crash course on what it is to be evil, and how to be a proper villian, without being a laughing stock
[05:11 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: For the scury unitiated warf rat what scuttles on to the subject, the easy thing to decide is why are you the way you are.
[05:12 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Trust me mates, tis a truth to this. It takes ONE BAD DAY to turn a hero into a villian. only ONE THING need to be go wrong to push yer jauncied ass over the moral event horizion into monsterdom. So to start then lets talk about the easy breezy, how to ge evil with buttons, and get cracking hard and fast.
[05:12 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: At any poine i leave you behind, wave a smoke trial and we'll turn the ship around to catch up with ye.
[05:13 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Me hearties, to begin with we need to identify a style of evil for you. This includes why you do what you do, and how do you go about it. The first I like to call the "Gentle" approach.
[05:14 PM] Crimson Sixpence giggles.
[05:14 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: And what that means is that you really are evil because you are selfish. You aren't kicking babies. You aren't tearing apart banks. But you will cheat, because itgets you what you want. You'll hurt someone, because thats the easy way from point a to point b. But a Gentle villian is hard to spot from time to time
[05:15 PM] Beatrice Cerise smiles
[05:15 PM] Patch Reina stares at Ophelia in horrific realization
[05:15 PM] Beatrice Cerise smiles sweetly
[05:15 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The easiest way to play that is to just say to yourself. "I'm going to be selfish, that gutter whore done have the coin i want. and i'm gonna get it."
[05:16 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: sticks her tongue out at Patch
[05:16 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Alright you dirty gutter crawlers. Get your asses round off your heads and lets move to the next one. The next type of evil is harder to play, but very fun. This is the second most common villian, and the WORST played.
[05:17 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: This dirty rum stealer i call the "Right of Power" Villain. You ever heard that silly statment from the pencil neck lubbers? "I think therefore I am?"
[05:18 PM] Faith Diesel: yes
[05:18 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: This type of villain isn't fo far off that boat. And he be raising that flag every time. The Right of Power Villain does things, becasue they can. They aren't particularly out to be evil. but when faced with something they are capable of, and seems logical, they don't really stop themselves.
[05:19 PM] Crimson Sixpence: makes me think of seshomaru
[05:19 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: These are your rail barons who order the chinese imigrants to be murdered. These blokes be the crooked admirals whom steal your booty and drown your crew. Why? Becasue they can.
[05:19 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: These rum soaked miscreants be some of the easiest to foul up, becasue players will forget the one golden rule. That one peice of eight needed ot make the set.
[05:19 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: IT DOES NOT GODDAMN MEAN DO IT BECAUSE ITS BAD.
[05:20 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: there has to be something in it for them
[05:20 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The right of power villian isn't kicking puppies becasue thats a terrible thing to do. The Right of power Villain does it because there is not reason /not/ to in order to acheive their goals.
[05:20 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Opheilia.
[05:20 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Gold star!
[05:20 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Give that woman some rum!
[05:21 PM] Crimson Sixpence: aka a puppy sitting in ur doorway and u wanan go in
[05:21 PM] Crimson Sixpence: *punt*
[05:21 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: shakes her blonde curls "I could like totally do this bad stuff!"
[05:21 PM] Crimson Sixpence: shoulda got out the way *shrugs*
[05:21 PM] Patch Reina raises his hand.
[05:21 PM] Tamryn Khandr gave you Dark Pleasure Officer.
[05:21 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The lassy got it in one. The Right of Power villian does things becaue there is MEANING behind it. They will achieve their goal because they will ust do what they can when they can and you can get keel hauled you think otherwise
[05:22 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Patch, me powder monkey, what have you to say?
[05:22 PM] Patch Reina: is it the same when the 'rop' villian gets what he wants and decided to just...off those who helped him if he's in the postion to do it?
[05:23 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Very much so
[05:23 PM] Crimson Sixpence: "Joker"
[05:23 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Now that doesn't mean that the villian should do it cause he's got a chance...but the Joker isn't actually a Right of Power Villain.
[05:23 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: He's the "Total Monster"
[05:23 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: We'll cover him next
[05:23 PM] Crimson Sixpence: ehhhyyyeehehe k
[05:24 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The right of power villain is hard to play becasue many of these lubber bastards forget that every Villain is a person first, evil second.
[05:24 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR VILLAINS MORAL CODE. WHAT THEY WILL AND WILL NOT DO IN ORDER TO ACHEIVE THEIR GOALS
[05:24 PM] LaRPS Meter v0.25: ((Halo Koolhoven's meter has been detached.))
[05:24 PM] Halo Koolhoven: ((waves, gotta get goin... thanks for sharing!))
[05:25 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: If yer villian what have a little lassy of a sister back at home, and you decide no killing children or girls?
[05:25 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Then don't be turning states and offing the tiny critter just cause she has the watch.
[05:26 PM] Crimson Sixpence raises hand.
[05:26 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Crimson...go for it
[05:26 PM] Crimson Sixpence: So would a good example ofthis one be Seshomaru from Inuyasha? He doesn't WANT to kill his brother but he tries because he has the sword he wants.
[05:26 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Pretty much
[05:26 PM] Crimson Sixpence: and he's abeast o.O
[05:27 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: internal struggle but ultimately his greed won out
[05:28 PM] Genesis Barthelmess taps her nose
[05:28 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Give the lassy a cigar and let her have first crack at the whore.
[05:28 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: I don't do crack
[05:28 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: You hit on a very important point which was coming later but old dog genny will tell us all know.
[05:29 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Your villian, like your character, like you, is dynamic. They struggle with issues themselves, and there is nothing more magnificent than seeing a villian become worse, or better based on their need to acheive their goals.
[05:30 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Now then, Our next type of evil is the one everyone usually thinks of. The one everyone seems to think is the default, where as the gentle evil is really the default.
[05:30 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The Total Monster.
[05:30 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Now listen up scrags
[05:30 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: If you walk away from this rum soaked fight with nothing in your ears but bullets, you REMEMBER THIS POINT. This is the most important part to many.
[05:31 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: I'M TELLING YOU RIGHT NOW YOU PROBABLY DON'T HAVE THE SAND TO BE A TOTAL MONSTER IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED YOUR HAND AT EVIL BEFORE.
[05:31 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Oh sure, you'll look good. Oh sure, you'll wave the sword around and kick the asses of the hero. Kick a puppy, poison a river for the giggles.
[05:31 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: But you'll hit the wall...when you stand on the ship, you look around at the devestation and for some reason...no one takes you seriously anymore.
[05:32 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: This is not ol genny telling you you suck as a player
[05:32 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: I aint telling you go take a dive off the plank and hang it up, i'm telling you that that is a hard evil to play
[05:33 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The total monster often pretends to be other types of villains. The Gentle Villain, or its offshoot the tricksters.
[05:33 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Or perhaps it LOOKS like a Right of power villain...but when the chips are down, and you think you have him figured out? What does that bastard do?
[05:33 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Burns half the money
[05:33 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Blows up the castle even though he JUST CLAIMED IT
[05:34 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Why does she do these things?
[05:34 PM] Perissa Caproni: she? grins
[05:34 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Why does she seem to win, and often burn the earth around her?
[05:34 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The secret to the total monster. Remember when I said forget that you are evil?
[05:34 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: I implied that you lot of sea dogs ought to think yourselves the HERO?
[05:34 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: immediate gratification?
[05:35 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: yes!
[05:35 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Throw that right out the window. The Total Monster deep down hates everything and everyone that isn't her. And while they too have a moral code. Its more of a suggestion. Rather than a rule.
[05:35 PM] Patch Reina: ack sorry being pulled away..but thanks for the awesome lesson!..i'll make Ophe fill me in.
[05:35 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Safe waters patch
[05:36 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Your total monster is like boxing, there is a sweet science to it. It takes time, and practice but the key elements are :If you aren't in power, or powerful, dont' bother. you'll be a joke":
[05:36 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: :Do what they don't expect, and always do what they wont.:
[05:37 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: :TELLING SOMEONE BECASUE IT AMUSED YOU HAS BECOME AN ACCEPTABLE REASON TO DO ANYTHING:
[05:37 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Total monsters do not have to be made men. Lets say ophelia bakes a cake.
[05:37 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: And she gives the cake to the crew.
[05:37 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: I peed in the batter
[05:37 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: now the crew all dies, because Ophelia made the cake.
[05:38 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: oh, it was to mix the poison
[05:38 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Indeed, she poisoned it. now, your average total monster that is on they wa to becoming ajoke will simply say "Well they didn't see it coming"
[05:39 PM] Shaktar Woodford: good luck getting the ship home alone
[05:39 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: A more appropriate motion would be simply Ophelia needs a new crew. And she isn't concerned with what happens to the old crew.
[05:39 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: <---------elementalist
[05:39 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: so she kills them/ why?
[05:39 PM] Ziggy London: Pretty impressed she had an oven on a sailing ship
[05:39 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: she likes seeing things DIE
[05:39 PM] Rottengirl Elswit smiles at ziggy
[05:39 PM] Perissa Caproni: to aviod paying them their fair share
[05:40 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Now the key to if Ophelia has not successfully done her villainy right....is this: If Ophelia can be charismatic, and if she can honestly scare someone. Then it worked
[05:40 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: umm but they are dead
[05:40 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The total Monster is only as good as the player is able to truely make another player go "WHAT THE FUCK"
[05:41 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: That one is hard to grasp, so to move on we'll boil it down.
[05:41 PM] Shaktar Woodford: hehe ya but now you NEED a new crew and they tend to shy away from captains that have lost them
[05:42 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: rows in ircles
[05:42 PM] Crimson Sixpence: then she'd just find a way to convince the new crew of what they wanted to hear
[05:42 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: circles
[05:42 PM] Crimson Sixpence: like "This pirate ship gets tons of treasure but its risky" with a lie
[05:42 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: to be a proper complet emonster you /need/ morals to abandon. You need a mode of operations, why do you do what you do? Are you angry at the world? ARe you just amused when things go wrong? And never be afraid to say or do WHATEVER you think you can in order to get something done. And every once and a while, and they key is TO DO THIS SPORADICALLY. Come up with a good reason why you shouldn't do something. Justify it...and do it anyway.
[05:42 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: That other captain knew he was losing and poisoned the rum
[05:43 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: exactyl.
[05:43 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: I don't expect a lot of you to have gotten through that really weird explination...in fact it was so hard I lost me goddamn accent only ta find it again in the middle of this here tar soaked sentence.
[05:44 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: LETS MOVE ON. And more fun general villian/evil type is the "hero."
[05:44 PM] Ziggy London: dont be losin' yer accent now, sloppy
[05:44 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: aye aye.
[05:45 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: yer basic ahero villain doesn't believe what they are doing is wrong. And even if they admit that what they do now is wrong. It doesn't matter ta them. In the end, once they win, everyone will be happy and whatever horrible thing that is going on will change.
[05:45 PM] Perissa Caproni: end justifies the means
[05:45 PM] Crimson Sixpence: like someone who wants to cleanse the world of humansbecause they destroy it? *sephiroth*
[05:45 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The secret, me hearties, is to ALWAYS JUSTIFY EVERYTHING YOU DO AND EITHER ALWAYS TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR ALWAYS DENY THAT YOU HAD ANY CHOICE. Pick one and go with it. -
[05:46 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Sephiroth is a decent example...and Per is right. The ends will always justify the means.
[05:46 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Example.
[05:46 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Gisele is a hero villain, and he done got him self a little girl as a hostage.
[05:46 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Poor girl, she doesn't make it he stabs her through the chest and hurls her body off a building
[05:47 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Gisele now has two options to properly pull off this act. Either accept that YES he did that. and that he knew exactly what he was doing. The sacrifice of the child will help bringa bout a better world. And he will grieve for his sins later.
[05:48 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: or! He has to immediatly at his core DENY that he had any choice in the matter. That the mission demanded he do it, and if the actual evil ( the heroes often) had not pushed him so hard, he would not have had to take such drastic steps.
[05:48 PM] Crimson Sixpence: putting the blame on someone else?
[05:49 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Either way, that right ruddy bastard Gisele will say that it had to happen. The ends you see, do justify the means. Always. Hero viliains are also unique because they can be redeemed, believably. And they also can cross over into total monster terriotyr with a good enough player and become TRUELY scary.
[05:49 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Sort of crimson...yes.. But not so much as blame someone else, just deny that he had any true responsiblity for something that had to occur.
[05:50 PM] LoLeCo Lacourte: so it was fate but only by his hand...
[05:50 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Exactly!
[05:51 PM] Crimson Sixpence: OMG
[05:51 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The Evil that is interesting...yet is a gray space...the Morally Absent Evil.
[05:51 PM] Crimson Sixpence: perfect example!
[05:51 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Morally or Ethically Absent evil is a strange sort of evil
[05:51 PM] Shaktar Woodford: i toled then she would die if they did not meet my demands..it's not my fault they didn't listen.
[05:51 PM] Crimson Sixpence: Full Metal Alchemist, the guy that turns his daughter and his dog into a monster so that he could keep being a state alchemist
[05:51 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: something like that.
[05:52 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The poor sod what is the Morally or Ethically Absent evil isn't actually evil. Often they are a genius.
[05:53 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Or perhaps just really good at something, whats wrong however, is that they don't really see any reason to NOT pursue this trade. It is similar to the Right of Power villian, except the right of power evil does things by choice.
[05:53 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: A lot of the 'evil' the morally absent villain does is because they just really didn't think "well was that the smartest thingw e could have done?"
[05:54 PM] LoLeCo Lacourte: ah Dr Frankenstien....
[05:54 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Take me for example. I be an air pirate. Be one of the best, and be quite congenial.
[05:54 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Give em a glass of rum they got it
[05:54 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Victor, despite being a digusting land lubber what liked dead things, was not intending to be evil
[05:55 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Poor victor did not stop to examine what the outcome of his actions would result, and he refused to take responsibility for his actions.
[05:56 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Thats why he is the villain. To be a proper right and good m and e absent villain, induldge your talents to their FULLEST EXTENT FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN YOU SEEK TO ADVANCE. And never EVER stop to think about the consequences. Ever.
[05:56 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: In fact, be outright suprised that anyone woudl think of using you or what you've made for that purpose. Why yes I built this cholera virus bomb...but....i just wanted to know if I could. I didn't intend to use it.
[05:57 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: However latr when you are face to face with the enemy and he wants your ship. What do you do? You grab your virus bomb. "Good thing I had this lying around..."
[05:57 PM] Beatrice Cerise: please excuse me, i must be on my way
[05:57 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Of course golden witch, a nnote card shall be provided if you require.
[05:57 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The key component to the Absent Evil is to remember that you are not reponsible for the outcome of your work or research.
[05:58 PM] Faith Diesel: can i give you xp beatrice
[05:58 PM] Faith Diesel: too quick
[05:59 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: And those are our general sorts of evil. the basics, distilled down. Now you may be a combination of these.
[05:59 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Ye may be a few drops of this, and a splash of that.
[05:59 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: But like a good ship, its made of common timbers.
[05:59 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Now before we go to questions and thoughts, lets slap on some general dos and donts.
[06:00 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Save of course for the player what thinks the Total Monster is their cup of tea.
[06:00 PM] Faith Diesel: you have your meter on beatrice
[06:00 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Never accept or admint you are a Villain.
[06:00 PM] Fate: ((Faith Diesel is in StoryTeller mode.))
[06:00 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: good and evil, much like property law.
[06:01 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Is in the eye of who ever is viewing.
[06:01 PM] Fate: ((Beatrice is given 1000 experience points.))
[06:01 PM] Beatrice Cerise smiles and bows deeply
[06:01 PM] Faith Diesel: there you go
[06:01 PM] Beatrice Cerise: thank you
[06:02 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Do stick to your guns and remember to go CHARACTER FIRST Evil SECOND. never break one of your boundaries unless you KNOW for a FACT that that is where you see yourself going. When you start GOING BACK on your actions you become inconsistant. Like my pirate day accent.
[06:02 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: And then none of the lubbers bout ye will take you seriously.
[06:03 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: and though we will cover this at a later date. If you decide to turn evil, to become a hero at some point...DO NOT EVER PICK UP YOUR EVIL STICK AGAIN FOR A GOOD LONG TIME.
[06:03 PM] Crimson Sixpence: what about thevillain that is forcedto become a villain?
[06:03 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: The number one newbie green back ass biter mistake is the idea that everyone loves a redemption or a fall, then a redemption. So if it was awesome once? Why not do it again?
[06:04 PM] Jeremiah Darcy still has no clue about what the tlak today is about but just listens
[06:04 PM] Crimson Sixpence: like he doesn't have a choice in life?
[06:04 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: the villain that is force to can always be redeemed. We can always be redeemed if we want, it is when this pattern of evil, then redemption, then evil, then redemption becomesa a cycle.
[06:04 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: At that point you aren't a character...you are a joke. Wyld here.
[06:04 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Goes batshit crazy
[06:04 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: And starts just KILLING puppies.
[06:04 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: nawwww
[06:04 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Like...its is going out of style killing puppies.
[06:04 PM] Ziggy London: Ugly puppies?
[06:04 PM] Crimson Sixpence: for example: a zombie. a zombie with a concious but he MUST eat to survive, fresh blood/skin. but he doesn't want to but has to
[06:05 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: well..yes, but thats a different lecture. Thats the "Living on the Edge, Dark is not Evil" lecture
[06:05 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: thats a different lecture...but back to puppies.
[06:05 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: So they redeem wyld.
[06:05 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Whom is sorry
[06:05 PM] Crimson Sixpence: my puppy is sitting behind me Q.Q
[06:05 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: But a month later...what the hell right?
[06:05 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Now she's murdering cats
[06:06 PM] Ziggy London: Ugly cats?
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: sticking them in our hearth fires, keel hauling them.
[06:06 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: now she has gone too far
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: No...really cute ones.
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: adorable kitties
[06:06 PM] Ziggy London: Outrageous
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Throws a shit ton of them down the well.
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: So we redeem her.
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: AGAIN
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Month later....
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: She's killing rabbits.
[06:06 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: no, no commin back from that one
[06:06 PM] Crimson Sixpence: compulsive murderer xD
[06:06 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: and not to eat them....just...killing them and throwing them everywhere.
[06:07 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: NO ONE WILL WANT TO DEAL WITH YOU ANYMORE WYLD.
[06:07 PM] Crimson Sixpence: tries to get out of the game but when things get rough DIE DIE DIE
[06:07 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Also...seriously....kittens? Uncool.
[06:07 PM] Tyrus Olbers: so the talk of today is "all about being Wyld?" =P
[06:07 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Thats the example. If you go back to the light.
[06:07 PM] Wyld Frostwych: huh?
[06:07 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: gold fish maybe?
[06:07 PM] Shaktar Woodford: neco's? -evil grin-
[06:07 PM] Crimson Sixpence: like have ue ver seen Mr. Brooks?
[06:07 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Make sure your ass stays theres.
[06:07 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: And don't flirt with the "oh i was evil once" sthick, because it will ruin you.
[06:08 PM] Perissa Caproni: Tyrus...how to be a believable villain
[06:08 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: all things in moderation of course.
[06:08 PM] Tyrus Olbers: oh, that's piece of cake. I recently killed my famous vampire one
[06:08 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: Some people can pull that off, some people cant. Its all about you rcomfort as a plyer.
[06:08 PM] Tyrus Olbers: I miss the sucker
[06:08 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: snort
[06:09 PM] Wyld Frostwych: WHATS UP WITH TRASHING ME?
[06:09 PM] Tyrus Olbers: what can i say, I'm a hardass pernature, being bad comes easy, lol
[06:09 PM] Ziggy London: God Wyld. We hate you over here. Not even ugly rabbits.
[06:09 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: So...thats it. We covered some basics, some dos. some don'ts. REally the key. Do't flip flop. If you are going to be evil, don't be a pansy about it. Remember what type of villain you are. Always go with your character first, your evil second. And have fun.
[06:09 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: lol Qyld
[06:09 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: wyld
[06:09 PM] Shaktar Woodford: Easy target?
[06:10 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: So lets open up the floor, any questions? Or maybe some topics or examples?
[06:10 PM] Crimson Sixpence: eya i do
[06:10 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: go for it
[06:10 PM] Ophelia Applewhyte: you had to be afk, she had you killing puppies and kittites an bunnies....I stuck up for yas unti lyou hurt thr kittens
[06:11 PM] Crimson Sixpence: ok as i mentioned earlier there is a man named Mr. Brooks. he has in his head a voice that he projects out as another man but still apart of him. That part loves to murder thinks its a game. Yet he doesn't want to kill but it's an addiction. After years of not murdering the itch comes back and he can't resist. What is he?
[06:11 PM] Shaktar Woodford: carsy?
[06:11 PM] Shaktar Woodford: umm crazy
[06:11 PM] Crimson Sixpence: yea he is crazy but noone knows
[06:11 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: he'd make a fantastic hero Villain.
[06:12 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: His struggle is the darkness isnide which causes him to lash out
[06:12 PM] Crimson Sixpence: the cops NEVER catch him
[06:12 PM] Tyrus Olbers: being evil has two highlight layers htta are amazing. One of them is being evil but not knowing you are and thinking what you do is right, the other oe is being evil and just lve being so. Of course hose are the edges of the spectrum
[06:12 PM] Crimson Sixpence: and someone catches him on c amera and wants to joni him
[06:12 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: He becomes his own hero and villain all int eh same sentence.
[06:12 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: We covered that one tyrus.
[06:12 PM] Crimson Sixpence: but eventually the guy turns on him by threatening him, so he kills the guy without thinking.
[06:12 PM] Tyrus Olbers hushes himself
[06:12 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: sounds like a pretty great plot to me
[06:13 PM] Crimson Sixpence: Mr. Brooks it's great o.O
[06:13 PM] Crimson Sixpence: it's am ovie
[06:13 PM] Genesis Barthelmess: I'd say classicall you'd be a hero villain....probably with a splashe of total monster for the other side.
