[02:18 PM] TriJin(trijin.bade): it's no good going up to someone and RPing "/me looks at Leigh", then roll a discovery. Even a roll success gets nothing but a successful glance.

[02:19 PM] Leigh Luv(leigh.huet): yes a success was gained but you can't expect either to get my characters full history in a glance either
[02:21 PM] Leigh Luv(leigh.huet): take what you learn from your successful roll and the information you learn by their reaction actually tells you something...for instance....one using holy light on a merman....he got a successful harm...but what kind of reaction do you think he got?

[02:23 PM] TriJin(trijin.bade): Each and every outcome of a die roll affects the scene in someway. So it is very important you react accordingly. Don't dismiss it... use it... play with it... you'll find more enjoyment in the reaction than the action.

[02:26 PM] Pseudo Thespian: I find many times people have no clue what to do and end up asking me in IM. I am happy to assist but it does kinda kill the moment. Nothing can be done about people not attending classes or reading I guess.

[02:28 PM] TriJin(trijin.bade): TIP: Before you perform your roll... think about what skills you have on your skill sheet. Try to Focus that first then roll. Your success is measured and improved when you focus a skill

[02:29 PM] Leigh Luv(leigh.huet): not necessarily for it depends on the character what they are...so the reaction could be..."felt the light blind him for a moment shaking his head.."now why you try to blind me with that crazy light."

[03:05 PM] Leigh Luv(leigh.huet): well one would have to have a gun to begin with the compulsion is there and could be brought up iin the process of getting a gun there are all kinds of ways to honor the roll be true to your character and respectful of your fellow RPers
