[11:08] Faith Diesel: you can find food in most of the sims - some for sale and some that can just be eaten
[11:08] Faith Diesel: have a look round Spitalfields Market where the bridge is and in the Ten Bells for example

[11:11] Faith Diesel: so yes if you have collected a few gems in your inventory dont throw them away
[11:12] Faith Diesel: you will be able to learn skills, collect things and with both of those make more complex things that you will be about to use

[11:24] Faith Diesel: the hunger displays allow you to rp being peckish or really hungry and then find food
[11:24] Faith Diesel: 3 other useful ones are health life and strength
[11:25] Faith Diesel: right hand side of the hud bar at the top of your screen
[11:25] Faith Diesel: Health is amount of hit points before your character becomes defeated. You could RP that as how much damage you have sustained.
[11:26] Faith Diesel: what is damaged will depend on what is rped as attempted
[11:26] Artur Lionheart: failures are fun to rp out was welll. As a noob, I tried to use my magic on someone, and it failed, and backfire upon me. Artur gave a very..interesting show in the middle of the cafe

[11:38] Faith Diesel: you dont want to race on too far but on the other hand you want to use your post to cover as much as is plausible

[11:40] Faith Diesel: we sorta got on to dice rolls - i was jsut meaning to show you about how damage & tiredness shows on your meter
[11:41] Faith Diesel: as you can see i am now completely restored to health
[11:41] Faith Diesel: in this instance i think she would recover quite fast but in large groups damage can tick up much too fast
[11:41] Artur Lionheart: its the fairy dust
[11:42] Faith Diesel: in the new larps you will be able to stop ticking up but more about that in a future class
[11:43] Faith Diesel: ok if your health gets to 0% you are defeated
[11:43] Faith Diesel: Defeated is not dead but injured sufficient to render the player unable to fight. Like being unconscious.
[11:43] Faith Diesel: Strength can be RPed as how tired you are. If strength gets to zero, it will affect health
[11:44] Faith Diesel: Life is the full life force of your character, if that gets to zero, you are dead and need to be resurrected.
[11:44] Faith Diesel: Death is difficult to achieve but resurrection will probably need a high level character to do.
[11:44] Faith Diesel: Dont forget to rp your damage. If your leg is chopped off, it is hard to run away.
[11:45] Artur Lionheart: flooping like a dead fish might work though
[11:45] Faith Diesel: Finally for this section: In legacies there is no permadeath, temp. death, mutilation or rape without OOC consent from the victim. It is the players responsibility to get consent in IM prior to the assault and keep evidence of it.
[11:45] Marina Jinx: What makes us lose life rather then health?
[11:46] Faith Diesel: good question Marina - do you know how to answer that one Marcus
[11:46] Faith Diesel: i dont fight often enough to notice
[11:47] Marcus Firegrave: you always take a damage on health when you take a hit
[11:47] Artur Lionheart: think of life like your inner reserves, what does keep you alive after fatigue and stress make you give out. It gets used when you have nothing left to give
[11:47] Marcus Firegrave: i dont know if the new system will keep it down but i have hopes
[11:47] Marcus Firegrave: also, when you are naughty, flying when your species wont allow it
[11:48] Faith Diesel: i will ask Tri - never occurred to me to ask - if you are defeated and continue to be damaged you will lose life
[11:48] Marcus Firegrave: or keep getting defeated in rapid succession
[11:48] Faith Diesel: but may start before that
[11:49] Faith Diesel: as losing life leads to death - I suspect you lose rather a lot if damaged with low or no health or strength
[11:49] Faith Diesel: Tri is aiming for it to be as realistic as possible
