[15:08] Genesis Barthelmess: Now evil they say is in the eye of the beholder
[15:08] Genesis Barthelmess: much like beauty
[15:08] Genesis Barthelmess: or a splinter
[15:08] obsidian Scarmon: but isn't it also that one can not be with out the other
[15:08] Genesis Barthelmess: but here we are going to discuss the absolute, the actual concept of chosing to be an evil character.

[15:09] Genesis Barthelmess: Being evil can be a truely rewarding experience, but it can also be hard to do.
[15:09] Genesis Barthelmess: To play a truely interesting evilc character takes work, and today i'm going to giveyou the tools you need to do this. By they way, i'm Genesis Barthelmess, proud to be a guide here in legacies

[15:11] Genesis Barthelmess: Evil, in its raw form is an abandonment of social morays and norms. A decision where one says "I will do what i wan,t and what is best for me and everyone else can go fuck themselves" Evil at its core, at its pure base is a very selfish, very personal thing.
[15:12] Genesis Barthelmess: But being evil is relative, being an evil character however, is an absolute. It is a absolute decision to say "yes, im evil"
[15:12] Genesis Barthelmess: does that make sense?

[15:12] obsidian Scarmon: with me I guess I do it a bit differently
[15:12] Genesis Barthelmess: Now. when you make a n evil character
[15:12] Genesis Barthelmess: or you decide to be evil.
Make that announcment in your brain peices. decide "YEAH BITCHES I'M EVIL"
[15:13] Genesis Barthelmess: And then, my advice, promptly forget it

[15:14] Genesis Barthelmess: this type of evil is evil not because its kicking babies, or raping pigs. Or taking faith's underpants.
[15:15] Genesis Barthelmess: This type of evil is evil becuase it is wholely and completely selfish.

[15:19] Genesis Barthelmess: This ass bastard i like to call "the Right of Power" Villain.
[15:19] Genesis Barthelmess: The Right of power evil is interesting ithat it is a concept of "Might makes right. And If i cam capable, then i have the right to what i want"
[15:20] Genesis Barthelmess: I played a right of power villain in the sci rp i often do. I have the genius to acomplish something, and so i pursue it...even if it means that i gas a city.

[15:20] Genesis Barthelmess: even if it means i mutate smoeones child

[15:21] Genesis Barthelmess: But what makes theme vil is that if they can do something to achieve their goal they WILL do it.

[15:23] Genesis Barthelmess: The right of power villian isn't kicking puppies becasue thats a terrible thing to do. The Right of power Villain does it because there is not reason /not/ to in order to acheive their goals
[15:23] Genesis Barthelmess: If kicking a puppy gets you there faster, and no one can stop you, then you do it.

[15:25] Genesis Barthelmess: just because you are evil, it does not mean that your character will just randomly do things for the sake of evil. Evil often is a means to an ends

[15:28] Genesis Barthelmess: The heroic villain and heroic evil concept are a very fun, but very hard one to pull off.

[15:29] Genesis Barthelmess: This type of villian believes in something. Something that they feel is right and on the outside APPEARS to be rightHowever they use black and white morality and refuse to admit that there are some things you do NOT do in the pursuit of your goal
[15:29] Genesis Barthelmess: That is what makes them evil. They may be the kindest people you know,, but when it comes to the mission no one, and nothing is safe

[15:30] Genesis Barthelmess: But is actually the evil one because of their inability to understand that some things are wrong

[15:31] Morsmordre Furman: Right, like I cannot understand kicking you in the shins is wrong, so I must do it anyway
[15:31] Genesis Barthelmess: the key to this type of evil is to never admit you were wrong.
[15:31] Morsmordre Furman: If I do not kick you in the shins I think bad things happen

[15:32] Morsmordre Furman: and therefore I victimize those shins, because iti s the right thing and that is the end all be all

[15:33] Genesis Barthelmess: Remember when i said that you should forget that you are evil?

[15:33] Genesis Barthelmess: And that you don't do evil things simply because they are evil
[15:33] Genesis Barthelmess: Well.

[15:34] Genesis Barthelmess: YOU SHOULD BE SEEN AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE

[15:36] Genesis Barthelmess: now here ar some guidelines for the total monsters of the world
[15:36] Morsmordre Furman: What makes them a monster is not their appearance but the fact that if I were to play that evil I would walk up, stab you, and giggle on my way because it was fun or whatever
