2011 had seen many events that changed many lives. Some good, some bad.
I know, for me, it was the saving grace of the Legacies community friendship that pulled me from a dark abyss.What event in Legacies changed your life? ICly or OOCly.

The day I met Katherine by the Black Rose. The sims were going down all around and no one could tp out or go from sim to sim. She and I roleplayed that there were barriers put up by the constables, they were trying to catch a criminal. Before I knew what happened, I was being grilled for an impromptu job interview, had a physical and was given a job! LMAO

Legacies is what made me develop Vedis into a viable character for a novel. It has given me the realization that maybe, just maybe, this writing thing will take off.
The romances, the friendships, the...deaths...*glares at them all for good measure* all of it has held me sane through some of the roughest times in my life.
And in the end, my demoness, the cold-hearted, lonely, creature that I brought to Legacies has found a family. A huge, chaotic, mess of a family, but more than she had hoped for.
And that...as V always says...is priceless.

I have two favourite moments in Legacies. Both taught me what a wonderful place legacies is to rp.
The first was a class on how to use larps and I had to pickpocket a certain dark lord. I was terrified I would rp it wrong but I managed the challenge rule and the dark lord's pockets got a LOT emptier.
The second was when Catherine (Watchers character) and Az tried to steal opium from Fate's shop and a timid little fae got mad and swept Catherine out with a broom through the shop window. - It showed you could rp anything and even a timid rper like me could do some agressive rp fairly and hilariously.

My favorite IC moments would have to have been becoming Commissioner, and joining The Black Rose. Both of which are amazing groups to be associated with.
As for OOC I feel the most memorable parts were making friends that I can actually talk to even when not rping at that moment. And we are always able to keep the OOC and IC separate that is one of the most awesome things I like about Legacies.

My favorite moment IC moment of Legacies was becoming Mayor...Two times. It was right up my ally. I guess Rune had a big part he played in the city at one time.
My best OOC moment was the time Leigh actually fought to keep me coming.
But 2012 is a new year and for some reason I feel less inclined to come online. I feel like the worst thing happened in 2011 and I lost the respect of a lot of RPers die tp a RP I did. at any rate its still a good place.

Becoming magistrate is certainly a highlight of 2011..
but most importantly, all the friends and people i have met in my time of playing SL and legacies.
love everyone to bits. even if most people think nimi's a bitch!.. means im doing a good job on portraying my char :D

I'm still really new to Legacies, most of you wouldn't know me from Adam. I hope to change that, and I'll start by saying this.
A lot happened to me in my last RP sim and in the end I ended up leaving the sim, sl and RP entirely for a while. But a good friend of mine here in Legacies encouraged me to give it a try, so try I did. In doing so I found myself a new home, new friends, and a new Second Life.
I found my new home in 2011 and I plan to stay in it for a long time.

Legacies has been home to me. I think a key moment happened in an rp between Kael, Vedis and I. My character, Val had been severly injured and healed and had come into work in shock. Vedis takes Val upstairs and cleans her up, all the while looking over the tiny cat's shoulder at Kael, her eyes promising murder. That Rp has stuck with me.
That's my fave IC moment.
I think my fave OOC movement has been up in the hub dancing with my fellow greeters to the the tunes that CB was playing at our requests.

Icly and oocly, I found an amazing place, full of laughter, humor, frustrations, giggles, snickers, bad jokes and simply the best roleplay I've ever had the wonder or wish for. You guys are absolutely amazing. I love the stories I see here, and watching her evolve each day into something a little more magnificent in her glory.
Five people really brought the rp home to me and assisted me, who have helped me grow as a roleplayer, I won't list their deeds, but they probably know who they are, Astrid, Saerrn, Leigh, Nicolie, Seras.
For me it was like being in a nightmare, and coming home.
that is my best moment of 2011, the moment that I realized, "I have a place to rp." but not only that. "I have a place that I -want- to rp." Ya'll are awesome.

In rl, I'm a stressed out grad student who really needed a place to escape to at least five times a week and Legacies has been such a wonderful outlet for me. The storytellers are the most supportive folks I've ever met and have shown me more patience than any other st I've role-played under in rl. The whole rp experience has been wonderful and I plan for it to continue for a long time. I can't pick a specific moment, ICly or OOCly, that changed my life but this is a community that has made my life much more enjoyable.

ICly on the night i first arrived and Miss Viola Bluebird assisted me and i found her later at the ten bells. she made me feel welcome and confident. OOCly, lol, nothing has happened except the great classes. I am happy to have a place to rp in that is of such good quality.

Pandora you're very kind. I adore this place and all it's characters, ICly and OOCly. Its amazing to have a place that I can slip away to when it feels like RL is disintegrating around me, SL gods permitting of course!
