   Rental Guidelines

   Thank you for your interest in Isle of Legacies 1891.

   Here are the basic guidelines / rules:

   1. Rentor: You must first become a Citizen of Legacies and a member of "Isle of Legacies-Resident" group. Both are done upon completion of the Automated Orientation Session. If not done, your prims may be returned.

   2. Rental Activation: Once activated, please notify (IM or NoteCard) the Rental Manager to give you the rental EXP awarded to our rentors. Any ST can set your lockable door for you.

   3. Rental Prim Allowance: On the rental map it is noted on each rental plate the prim allowance. In the event you may need more prims just contact the Rental Manager or TriJin Bade for assistance.

   4. Rental Protection: We offer our rentors protection. Call for a Storyteller (ST), they will assist you with a protection ward. A ward is IC and requires RP and an ST overseeing. There must be justification for a ward and all wards must be plausable. Once approved and successfully put in place it is the player who is responsible to maintain the ward.

   5. Rental Security: Legacies Lockable Doors: These doors are placed by TriJin Bade personally. Being a part of the IC floor the doors though they lock are up for role play/dice rolls which normally (with reason) involves access. If you would like a Legacies Lockable door contact the Rental Manager via note card and request one.

   6. Rental Renewal: As the rental is renewed and the rent paid we award additional EXP for doing so, we appreciate our rentors. Contact the Rental Manager for exp.

   7. Scripts: Any heavily scripted object must be pre-approved prior to use. If you are unsure about a script or are not a scripter...DO NOT use it until you have checked it with an Estate Manager.

   8. Space: Refrain from over stepping your space, remain within the wall space, or ruining the ambiance of Legacies Beyond Darkness (1891). If you are wanting to alter the build or land, contact the Rental Manager. Remember ... residence/citizenship in Legacies is to improve EVERYONE'S role play experience.

   9. Lights/Particles/Rotating Stuff/Sounds: PLEASE DO NOT OVERUSE. Scripts like this can add to lag. Script timings are checked and if your object is over script time, the object will be returned.

   10. Arrears: Along with friendly reminders Automated notices are sent to rentors. If you are more than ONE day late with your rental payment, your items will be returned. If you know you will be late, simply notify the Rental Manager or a ST beforehand. We are not ogres and realize there is a RL.

   11. Returned Items: If your items are returned it is because;
   a. You did not comply with the above rules in some manner.
   b. You were not active in Legacies for 7 days or longer and therefore considered inactive.
   c. Your rental fell into arrears.
   d. During routine prim checks it was discovered you are over your prim allowance.

   12. Communicate: We are flexible and fair. If you have any questions or issues, please IM the Rental Manager or Legacies Staff.

   13. Laying Prims and Rezzing Items;
   The active player needs to be wearing the group tag for the region they are wishing to rez an item in. This includes prim laying as well as building.

   14. Building In-Sim;
   If the player is building outside the rental walls approval is needed prior to building.

   15. Squatting (free prims): Due to prim constraints squatting is no longer permitted. There are many options available; seek a slum lord, rooming house, halfway house, inn, daily rentals, temporary (RP) prims picked up before logging and more. Please contact the Rental Manager, Estate Agent or ST for assistance.
