Unlike Viola's question, the answer this time is "England".

When I first arrived in Legacies, part of my title included "British accent". Soon after, it occurred to me that the setting of Legacies is London, England. An English accent is to be expected. By default, most of the people in England will have English accents. It would be natural, therefore to assume that unless otherwise specified, anybody you speak to has a local accent. Unless, of course, the character is a foreigner - Italian, French, American, in which case the different accent is important. I don't need to know that somebody is English because that is what I expect. A posh accent yes, a Northern accent (by which I mean Yorkshire, Lancashire etc - not New York) yes, just an English accent, no. British (yes, I was guilty) - not so sure that makes sense - Britain includes England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland - all with their own distinctive accents. British is not the same as English.

Remember, this is England, we speak with an English accent here :)
