Ophelia Applewhyte: Hello and I am excited today because I thought of an easy way to teach the new LaRPS!

Ophelia Applewhyte: The LaRPS is an RP system, to say it is a meter is like saying your arm is only to flip pancakes on Sunday morning, it does so much more.

Ophelia Applewhyte: ok challenge rule. This is a part of Legacies because we are RP first here. Havign your RP interrupted by a gratuitous fight is annoying and counterproductive to good RP. A great fight because it is part of the story however, is good fun.
Ophelia Applewhyte: SOOO before any act of aggression there must be two posts of RP that the other players responds to that let them know something is about to happen.
Ophelia Applewhyte: It is ok if the character does not know but the player must know

Ophelia Applewhyte: okies, everyone get your RP system on and you will see the tabs across the top

Ophelia Applewhyte: first thing is your health and strength and life. Paris we will get to the trget in a bit so it makes sense I promise

Ophelia Applewhyte: Life is fixed, based on your race
Ophelia Applewhyte: if your health or strength bottom out, you are defeated, if your life gets to 0 you are dead.

Ophelia Applewhyte: New meter stuff, melee, there are some new settings if you open your HUD by clicking the left side at the top of your screen you will see melee
Ophelia Applewhyte: click melee and you see various physical attacks but at the bottom are some settings I want you to see

Ophelia Applewhyte: no just melee, abilities are still depending on what they do

Ophelia Applewhyte: I do not see the option here but I will go over it and maybe one of you knows. There is another setting here that you will be asked to use in combat, scenemode

Ophelia Applewhyte: so /9scenemode on makes it so that you do not naturally heal or regain strength . You now have to heal to do that, this makes combat more realistic, before by the end of the round you were 100%. So if your health or strength are getting low you know that you need to RP that condition
Ophelia Applewhyte: armor can be anything from a neko tensing their muscles warily, a leather coat or full plate or magical armor. It is your RP and depends on your character. You can click the button and armor yourself

Ophelia Applewhyte: just remember this is an IC action and those around you will know you did it, armoring yourself over tea in the cafe will make you look silly or worse, like you are about to cause trouble
Nimue Macbeth: One note here on armor.. if you buy armor then hit armor it will rest and you will lose what you bought
